Walking Coaching

Aside from the obvious exercise and stress-busting benefits, walking is a brilliant way to reflect, expand your mind and get creative – mostly, because you’re away from the distractions of your desk.

It’s the perfect partner for coaching, because:

  • The format can feel less intense. Preferable for some because we’re side-by-side rather than face-to-face
  • Time away from your desk (and your tech) limits distractions, encouraging focused thinking
  • Natural environments aid reflection and creative thinking (I aim for green routes over grey ones)
  • It’s better for you and the planet!

I’m located in Burgess Hill, Sussex and offer walking coaching to those located within an hour (ish) of me by road or rail.

If I travel to you, I may add a small travel expense to your coaching or mentoring package price, which I’ll outline following our initial discovery call.

Before we meet, I’ll suggest a route based on your location. If you have a local fave – let me know.

Alternatively, you’re welcome to travel to me for no additional charge – there is a vast field and woodland located at the back of my house.

Outside my travel zone but like the idea of ‘screen-free’ sessions? We can speak over the phone instead.

This gives you the opportunity to find a space that is comfortable for you, including a walk and talk if you prefer (please just ensure you get phone signal!)

If interested, please mention this in our discovery call.

Reviews for Coaching With Ro

Book a 15 minute chat and we’ll discuss your goals and ensure we’re a good fit.

If happy to go ahead, I’ll follow-up a link to book your sessions.

Book your initial consultation for a time that works for you and we’ll get started.

I cover most areas reacheable within an hour from Burgess Hill, Sussex, by car or train.

This spans from around Chichester through to Eastbourne (West to East), up to Central London – which I’m happy to travel to if your location is within walking distance of London Bridge or Victoria mainline stations.

This catchment area covers much of Sussex, including Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing, Brighton, Lewes, Crawley, Horsham and Gatwick.

If you’re unsure if you fall into the catchment, or are on the cusp of it, let me know when we chat that you’d like to book walking coaching – it’s likely I can accommodate.

If you’re further afield, no problem, alternative choices include online sessions over VC, or telephone coaching. The latter is a good choice if you‘re after flexibility on location or want the benefits of a less-formal format. You could walk at the same time if you wish – I only ask you please stick to areas with good signal to avoid disruption to your session!

We’re in England – there’s a good chance the weather won’t play ball.

If it drizzles or is a little chilly, I encourage you to stick to the session and dress appropriately. It’s another way to build resilience!

My cancellation and rescheduling terms are detailed in my contract, which you’ll be sent to you to review before you pay and book in.

I do not offer refunds if you move sessions outside of these terms; however, if the weather is really bad on the day, I will give you the option to meet indoors (for example in a coffee shop) or to have the session virtually instead.
